Dr. Bhatia has been elected as IEEE Distinguished Lecturer for Circuits and Systems Society for the year 2007-2008.

December-2006

Rajarshee Bharadwaj successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation. Dr. Bharadwaj has joined Texas Instruments in the Chip Technology Center.

Dr. Bhatia has been invited to serve on the program committes of IEEE International Conference on Reconfigurable Computing Education to be held in Karlsrhue, Germany in March 2006 and IEEE International Conference on Field Programmable Technology to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in December 2006.

Dr. Bhatia recently delivered a three day tutorial course on Physical Design Automation in Bangalore, India under the auspices of IEEE and VLSI Society of India.

Shankar Balachandaran graduated with Ph.D. and now Dr. Balachandaran has joined the Computer Science and Engineering department at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras at Chennai. He is Assistant Professor.
