Research in Embedded and Adaptive Computing group
is centered around few very inter-related topics. Most of the research
projects require development of ARCHITECTURES, design of ALGORITHMS,
and implementation of APPLICATIONS. Our current activities are listed
below. For more detailed information, please visit projects webpages
for description of current and past projects.
- Reconfigurable and Adaptive Systems
- Architecture and CAD for Low Power and Thermal Aware FPGAs
- Biomedical Electronics and Systems
- Medical Devices and Instrumentation
- Body Area Wireless Networks
- Energy Harvesting
Graduate students in the group work on defined set of problems. However,
most of our projects require teamwork and ability to work as a team will
result in a very successful and fruitful graduate studies experience.
Most students are expected to carryout analytical and experimental work.
It is generally expected that students will, besides outstanding academics,
have good programming and design skills.
Prospective doctoral students are welcome to contact.
However, no support can be guaranteed until graduate program committee
has made
a final determination
on the admission status of an application. While trying to contact, please
make sure that you have studied our areas of research concentration.
If you feel that your interests match with the activities in EACgroup,
send a plain text email with your educational background, GRE scores,
scientific publications, and degree objectives to Dr. Dinesh Bhatia.
